9/4/2023 0 Comments Lockdown transformers fanartLegacy Lockdown here obviously takes almost entirely after the original Animated incarnation. And here's Lockdown, just in time for his appearance in Age of Extinction! Which doesn't really seem to have much to do with previous versions of the character, from what I can tell, other than possibly being a bounty hunter. Other favorite weapons in Lockdown's vast arsenal include a phasic sniper rifle, a pneumatic grapnel hook, and a razor-edged throwing disc which doubles as a stylish hat. His quick-draw speed and accuracy with said weapon is unparalleled, making it nearly impossible to get the drop on him unscathed. His weapon of choice - which he is never seen without - is his magna-revolver, kept in a holster on his hip. Instead, he delights in pilfering weapons, gadgets, and occasionally entire body parts (when the contract allows for it) from his captured prey as trophies. Lockdown has accrued a hefty fortune through his work, but prefers to spend the bulk of his earnings on contacts and information networking rather than equipment. He is unquestionably out of his element working as part of team and under orders, but greed is a strong motivator for change. Promised an even more handsome reward (and his life) in return for his services, the once-proud Lockdown has little choice but to ally himself with the Decepticon cause for the foreseeable future. Unbeknownst to Lockdown, however, Megatron has a small army of loyal subjects at his disposal, which he uses to subdue the hunter and destroy his ship. It is no surprise, then, that after receiving a distress call ostensibly from the flagship of the Decepitcon fugitive Megatron, who carries on his head the second-largest bounty in Cybertronian history, Lockdown makes his way to planet Earth. Especially notorious for his unrelenting nature, Lockdown will pursue his quarry to the edge of known space and beyond, and has an unmatched rate of capture. Hopping from system to system in his gunship Death's Head, Lockdown has made a name for himself as one of the most ruthless bounty hunters in the galaxy. Slipstream is the only known female Seeker the character first appeared in Transformers: Animated as a female clone of Starscream.Alternate Mode: Harley-Davidson SuperLow 1200T with sidecar.(However a poster of Arcee is seen during chapter 4) Slipstream is one of the three characters (along with Barricade and Arcee) to not return in Fall of Cybertron.Slipstream's jet model, along with Starscream's, is reused in Fall of Cybertron as various generic Seekers, easily identifiable during the attack on the Autobot transport.Megatron merely shrugged, and the Decepticons apparently left Slipstream behind on Junkion, just as it was being torn apart. and causing her to land right on the window screen of the ship's bridge.Īs Megatron learned the location of the Allspark and prepped the Nemesis for departure, Starscream remarked that Slipstream had not returned to the ship after suffering her injuries in battle with Prime and the Autobots. Slipstream and Optimus Prime soon fought hand-to-hand, and Prime eventually sent an invitation to Megatron by blasting Slipstream into unconsciousness. Megatron dispatched Slipstream and the Seekers to knock Prime loose before he caused any more trouble, but their efforts to avoid hitting the Blaster itself made it a perfect shield for Optimus on the hull. The only problem was Optimus Prime hopped aboard the craft right at the base of the Requiem Blaster. They attempted to graft the Blaster to the Nemesis' hull. Later, she returned to the Nemesis as Megatron attempted to use the ship's tractor beam to pull forth the mythical Requiem Blaster from Junkion's core. When the Decepticons eventually tracked down the Ark on the planet Junkion, Slipstream was part of the aerial strike on the Autobots as they attempted to repair their ship. Although she remained true to the ideal that Seekers stick together, that didn't mean she respected Starscream any more than he deserved. Slipstream was one of the Seekers who served on the bridge crew of the Nemesis alongside Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp. While she was not mentioned by name, she was most likely at the battle with Omega Supreme, as only three of Starscream's Air Commanders survived the battle. NOTE: Slipstream does not appear in the campaign of War for Cybertron, however after completing the Decepticon campaign, she is available in Multiplayer and Escalatio and Gavaltrons Revenge is an Destructicon.
